What is the latest situation in the earthquake zone?

The most critical elections of recent years ended with the closing of polling stations at 17.00. As of 10:30 pm on Sunday, May 14, about 70 percent of the ballot boxes in Turkey had been opened.

In some cities, the People’s Alliance candidate Tayyip Erdogan is leading the race. In some cities, Alliance of Nations presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is seen leading the race. In many cities, the election campaign continues head-on.

In Kahramanmarash, the epicenter of the February 6 earthquakes, 80 percent of the votes have been counted.

According to open polls, Recep Tayyip Erdogan leads the race with 70.99% of the vote. National Alliance presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu won 23.01 percent of the vote in Kahramanmaras.

A similar picture is observed in Khatai, one of the regions most affected by the earthquake. Erdogan has 51.72 percent of the vote in the city, where 62 percent of the ballot boxes are open. The vote level of Kılıçdaroğlu from Hatay is 44.11 percent.

In Malatya, 82 per cent of the ballot boxes were opened. Erdogan leads the way

The People’s Alliance presidential candidate has a vote rating of 69.69 percent. Kılıçdaroğlu, on the other hand, follows Erdoğan with 26.87% of the vote. The result of the elections in the earthquake zone is in favor of Erdogan, as in many cities.

More than 50 percent of the ballot boxes in Adana were opened. Kılıçdaroğlu received 48.83% of the vote, while Erdoğan received 45.61% so far. Similarly, the counting of half of the ballot boxes in Diyarbakır has been completed. Kılıçdaroglu is in the lead with 70.45% of the vote. Erdogan’s vote is 27.87 percent.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan was the first to leave the ballot box in Adiyaman, Osmaniye and Sanliurfa.

Most of the ballot boxes were opened in our three cities affected by the earthquake. Erdogan received 66.99 percent, 62.19 and 61.52 percent of the vote in these cities, respectively. On the other hand, Elazig and Kilis are among the cities where Erdogan is leading the election race.
