US President Joe Biden arrived in Poland after a surprise visit to Ukraine and met with Polish President Andrzej Duda. President Duda welcomed Biden with a formal ceremony. Speaking during a meeting with Duda, Biden thanked Duda for Ukraine’s support for Poland and described relations between Ukraine and Poland as very critical.
Saying that he believes Ukraine is “in a better position than ever,” Biden urged NATO countries not to lose focus. “I have made it clear that the US commitment is real, and a year later I say NATO is stronger than ever before,” Biden said. I can proudly say that our support for Ukraine is unwavering.
