Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov spoke about the ongoing war with Russia and said that Russia is preparing for a new attack.
Reznikov warned: “We do not underestimate our enemy.”
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov made a statement to the French media. Minister Reznikov said that Russia is planning a major offensive on February 24, which coincides with the first anniversary of the war. Reznikov recalled that Russia recruited 300,000 soldiers in September and suggested that the real number could be closer to 500,000. “We do not underestimate our enemy,” Reznikov said.
Reznikov said the Russian-planned attack is likely to intensify in two regions, the east and south of the country, where there have been intense conflicts in recent weeks, and said: “We think they will try to do something around February 24, as Russia lives in symbolism. Reznikov said that the Ukrainian command would try to stabilize the situation at the front and prepare for a counteroffensive. That’s why we need weapons to keep the enemy at bay. “I believe that 2023 could be the year of military victory,” he said.
