More than 5 thousand people died as a result of earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 in Kahramanmarash.
As a result of the earthquake that hit Kahramanmarash, Gaziantep, Malatya, Diyarbakir, Kilis, Sanliurfa, Adiyaman, Hatay, Osmaniye and Adana, more than 25 thousand citizens were injured, thousands of houses were left under ruins.
Turkey’s neighbor Greece sent a search and rescue team and humanitarian aid on the first day of the quake.
