From the United States, a statement was received about helicopters crashed in Iraq, on board of which were members of the SDF group.
Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder said the US had nothing to do with the training it received in Iraq, nor with the helicopters that crashed in northern Iraq carrying SDF members linked to the PKK terrorist organization.
“The United States has nothing to do with the SDG helicopter flight and no involvement in it,” Ryder said. At least 5 people, including PKK fighters, are believed to have died in a mysterious helicopter crash, according to a statement from the Northern Iraq Regional Authority. Although some sources gave the number as 9, it was noted that the PKK terrorist organization’s air bridge was found in the helicopter crash.
