The Spanish newspaper El Pais wrote that Spain would send 4 to 6 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, which is at war with Russia.

The newspaper, citing an unnamed government source, said the number of tanks to be sent depends on the condition of the tanks available and how many other countries will support Ukraine.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense of Spain has not yet shared information on this matter.

This month, the Kyiv administration received tank commitments from Western countries against Russia.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Tuesday that his country expects to purchase 120 to 140 tanks from 12 countries in the first place.
