Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson called the perpetrators of the outrageous act in his country “useful idiots”.

Turkey suspends NATO talks with Sweden, which allowed debauchery with the burning of the Koran in Stockholm. Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson, who, albeit late, understood Turkey’s sensitivity to terrorism and Islamophobia, said that these actions were beneficial to Sweden’s adversaries and that those who carried out these actions were “useful idiots.”

Despite the tripartite agreement, the scandals did not stop in Sweden, which insisted on the extradition of members of the terrorist organization and allowed them to demonstrate. Recently, there have been provocations against the Holy Quran in the country, led by Danish far-right politician Rasmus Paludan. The Swedish administration contented itself with watching the nefarious activities. Islamic countries, especially Turkey, reacted strongly to Sweden. While the courage of Sweden, which relied on Turkey in NATO, was amazing, Turkey quickly showed its reaction. President Erdogan has suspended tripartite talks with Sweden and Finland on NATO membership. While events remained warm, the Swedish side began to realize some of the facts a few days later. Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson emphasized that these actions complicate the security of his country and said: “It is risky for Sweden’s image in the world and for the security of Swedes abroad.”

After a closed-door meeting with Swedish party leaders, Kristersson made statements regarding anti-Turkish provocations organized by supporters of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, the burning of the Quran and Sweden’s NATO bid process.

“WE SEE WHAT DANGEROUS AND BIG RESULTS THIS CAN CAUSE”
Expressing the obvious that the events in Stockholm over the past few weeks have complicated the security of Sweden, Kristersson said:

“We saw how a toy puppet, similar to President Erdogan, was hung from the feet, and then the Koran was burned in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm. Even though it has been legal in Sweden over the past few weeks, the actions of small groups and individuals have turned into a disinformation campaign. He made Sweden look like an Islamophobic country. We have seen how this can have risky and serious consequences for Sweden’s image in the world and for the security of Swedes abroad.”

“USED LEG”
Kristersson stated that the actions in question benefited Sweden’s adversaries and called those who carried out the actions “useful idiots”.

Stressing that Sweden’s bid for NATO membership is significant, Kristersson said: “Sweden faces the most serious security threats since World War II. The parties have different views on NATO. With the approval of Sweden’s application by 28 NATO countries, we have become more secure, but we must not ignore the fact that we are not yet a member of NATO.”

Kristersson also noted that he will travel to the United States this week to discuss his country’s NATO accession process.

PKK/YPG DISCUSSION IN SWEDEN
On the other hand, Social Democratic Party leader Magdalena Andersson made a statement to the Swedish press ahead of her meeting with Prime Minister Kristersson.

Andersson said that Sweden’s NATO membership was under threat due to anti-Turkish statements by far-right Swedish Democratic Party leader Jimmy Akesson and said the government should stop cooperating with the Swedish Democratic Party.

Akesson, on the other hand, stated in his reply to Andersson that the Social Democratic Party has close relations with the terrorist organization PKK/YPG and that Turkey is mainly reacting to this situation.
