
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay a visit to China on February 28-March 2.
The press service of the President of Belarus reported that from February 28 to March 2, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay an official visit to China.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying also said that Lukashenka would come to the country at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Xi and Lukashenko met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Samarkand, the capital of Uzbekistan, last September.
Lukashenko, who is known to be a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has said that if Russia is attacked, they will fight alongside Moscow.
