Critical contact with China from Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Claims that “Xi Jinping will meet Putin in Russia” that have been circulating for some time have gained confidence. President Xi will be in Russia on Monday. The visit will take place exactly one month after the arrival of US President Biden in Kyiv.

This will be one of the most important visits to Russia since the beginning of the Ukrainian occupation. Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with his strategic ally Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

The Kremlin said in a statement that Xi would remain in Russia from Monday to Wednesday. Reappointed for an important third term, Xi last visited Russia in 2019.

Last year, Putin attended the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Beijing, and in September the two leaders met at a regional security conference in Uzbekistan.

Chinese diplomat Wang, who visited Putin in Moscow in recent weeks, said:

CHINA’S CALL FOR DIPLOMACY CONFIRMED

China, which took a 12-point stance on the war last month, called for respect and dialogue in the interests of the territorial sovereignty of all countries.

However, Western leaders accused China of not condemning the invasion, accusing it of providing diplomatic cover for Moscow.
