The entry of the Free Cause Party (HUDA PAR) into the People’s Alliance and the deployment of four AKP-listed representatives to parliament ahead of the May 14 elections has brought back to the agenda the terrorist organization Hezbollah, notorious for its heinous actions in the 1990s. . . While the opposition accuses HUDA PAR of links to Hezbollah, the government denies any links between the party and the organization. On the other hand, another name on the public agenda is Konja Kurish, who reveals how terrible and brutal the Hezbollah terrorist organization is and who fell victim to Hezbollah’s brutality years ago.
Lately, many people are wondering who Konja Kurish is and why Koncha Kurish was killed. Let’s look at Konja Kurish, who was tortured and killed by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
Konja Kurish was born on October 16, 1961 in Mersin.
Konja Kurish, who married Orhan Kurish when she was only 16 years old, was introduced to various sects through her father-in-law.
Since the late 1980s, he has been involved in non-governmental organizations and sects.

According to his relatives, during this period he participated in discussions about Islam and took an active part in the activities of non-governmental organizations or sects to which he belonged. However, Kurish’s view of Islam, and especially the “place of women in Islam”, was very different from the general approach of the sects to which he was a member.
Konja Kurish distanced herself from the sects she was a member of because of her different opinions about “the place of women in Islam”.

In the following period, she began to write articles in the magazine İktibas, which was published by the writer Ercument Ozkan and adhered to a line defending the equality of women in the public sphere. However, Kurish’s adventures here did not last long. With the death of Ozkan, the management of the magazine changed. The new management forced Kurish to leave the magazine, considering it “too feminist” …
Curish argued that women should have equal rights with men and that women should take an active part in public life, opposing the established order that “imprisons women at home”.

Moreover, despite the sects and various Islamic organizations in which he was a member or had contact before! However, Kurish did not hesitate to openly express the truths he believed in and gradually expanded his sphere of influence through the television programs he participated in. It was for this reason that Kurish was often warned to be careful by his inner circle.
Because it attracted the attention and reaction of many organizations and structures, especially Hezbollah, and was a threat from these structures. However, she replied to her inner circle: “I must warn Muslim women,” and did not stop publicly expressing her thoughts.
Konja Kurish, who knew the terrorist organization Hezbollah intimately and managed to create a large crowd around her views, was abducted on July 16, 1998 by three members of the organization.

This event was reported to the reader in the Milliet newspaper of July 18, 1998, with the following statements: 38-year-old Konja Kurish, a mother of 5, arrived at her home around 01:00 am from the sewing workshop she runs with her husband Orhan Kurish. The spouses Konja and Orhan Kurish, who got out of their minibus, were about to open the door of their house, but were neutralized by three armed men who came out of their hiding place. “After these people took the keys to the minibus from Orhan Kurish, whom they put on the ground, they put Konju Kurish into the minibus and quickly left the scene.”
The body of Konji Kurish was found on 23 January 2000 in a cell in a cell in Konya belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

In the same house, videos of the incredible torture suffered by Kurish were filmed. The horrific murder of Koncha Kurish, who had an important role as a women’s rights advocate and fought for women to take an active part in public life, has been recorded as one of the most extreme examples of Hezbollah’s brutality.
