An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers in the city of Khoy, Iran.
According to information on the website of the Office for Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 was registered, the epicenter of which was the city of Khoy in the Iranian province of Western Azerbaijan.
Although the quake was determined to have occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers, reports surfaced on social media that the quake was also felt in Van and Hakkari.
It was found that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 29 kilometers from the Bashkal region of Van.
